MEET OUR DESIGNERS
Personal Service from Start to Finish
Designing homes is my passion. When a person or family decides they are ready to build or renovate a home to make it uniquely theirs, I listen to the vision they have and develop a unique plan that incorporates their needs and wants.
Most people move into existing (or production) homes designed by and for someone else. These homes often do not meet the family’s lifestyle or needs. When I work with a customer, I incorporate their ideas, needs, and wants into a plan that they cannot wait to have built and move into. I make recommendations and offer suggestions, but ultimately, this is their home, not mine.
I have designed homes for more than 15 years for clients in North Carolina and parts of the mid-Atlantic region. I believe honesty, integrity, and the ability to listen are critical to being a top notch and successful designer. My goal is to turn ideas into plans that say, “Welcome Home.”
I am a Johnson County native and still call this area home. When I’m not designing homes, I enjoy woodworking, working in the yard, watching The Andy Griffith Show (best show ever!), and spending time with my family and menagerie of farm animals.
ISABELLA "IZZY" ENXUTO
Designing homes is incredibly rewarding. Even though it can take hours trying to work out a complicated layout, it's completely worth it when the client says they love what you designed. I currently work on residential designs, including custom homes, additions, and remodels.
I started with Tyndall Engineering in 2016, then moved into the design department in 2019, putting my creativity to use.
I'm originally from Wethersfield, CT, and my family moved to Johnston County in 2009. My husband and I bought our first home in Clayton in 2020, where we live with our four cats. I'm a big animal lover (especially cats if you can't tell already). At our previous design office location, there was a colony of 23 cats living behind the building. My manager and I worked to provide veterinary care, spay/neuter, and adopt them all out.
In my free time, I'm usually hanging out with my friends and family, playing video games, searching for a new vegetarian restaurant to try, or listening to the newest metal tracks with my husband.
I have always loved looking at houses and hoped to one day design them, being able to create something that is such a huge part in a client's daily life. I joined DRB DESIGN in 2021 after earning my Associates in Architectural Technology from Pitt Community College. My current focus is primarily on remodels and additions, going out to the site to measure existing houses and get a clear understanding of the client’s goals.
In my final year in college, I was a teacher assistant, sharing my knowledge of AutoCAD. I am a crafty person, and enjoy getting involved in hands on projects, from building furniture to cross stitching.
